#103 WHY ALTON AND DOMINICK TAKE THE FERRY TO THE ISLAND EVERY OTHER DAY

We took these photos yesterday ( April 26,2006) about an hour and a half before sunset. Not a bad life for two Seniors 69 and 77 years young. I've told you a lot about the Island ( Isla Mujeres), Here's where we always hang out every other day. It's around 6:30PM now and the beach is quiet. Everyone is showering and getting ready for dinner, we stay to see the sunset, it's the best part of the day, then we go for dinner downtown at THE FRENCH BISTRO. The photos are of Sergio's place on Playa Sol. We've known him and all his workers for a long time now. We run a tab for drinks, lunch and HAPPY HOUR (2 X1), which runs all evening starting at 4PM. Lots of the girls we meet love Pina Coladas, 2 hugh glasse for 4 bucks!!! He puts out a great buffet daily, his guys bring back the catch of the day and it goes right on his large grill. Lots of garlic, salad, what's not to like. WERE LIVING LARGE !!!!

I have to tell you, in all my travels following the sun and looking for great beaches.......... Martinique, all the Caribe Islands that I've been too, Casablanca, Morroco.... Ibiza,Spain... Myconos,Greece... Fire Island, Cannes, Monnaco, Myorca, Spain.........and on and on..................ISLA MUJERES is the best. Having a coral reel makes the beach, we don't have sand, it's all very fine coral that the fish chewed up for thousands of years that created the beach. It could be 90 degrees and your feel like your walking on cool tile. Alton and I are so fortunate to be able to enjoy the Island, with all the young girls that come here from all over the world to spend a few days> what makes it so great........ it's the beaches, the ocean, lots of great little restaurant and a small Mexican Village. Sometines Aton and I look at each other and say. " Who has it this good?"....................guess, maybe Brando !!!!
