# 53 Cool marketing idea

I thought that this was very creative bit of marketing and worth a POST in my BLOG. Samsung who is known for TV's, PC's etc has no market in Digital Cameras and Camcorders. Last week they opened a store in Manhattan where you can take out for 3 hours any one of their Digital Cameras or Camcorders. They make a copy of your credit card and driver license and off you go to take photos or videos in the Big Apple. When you return, they give you a CD and photos of what you shot at no charge. Not bad. Lets say you want to buy the Camera,no no, they don't sell anything at that location, this place is just a marketing tool. You can of course go to any one of their retail stores and buy it. Maybe we will see more of this in the future.
